The Quadricentennial was a big success!
Everyone on the island enjoyed it, and there were a lot of people there on a sunshiny day.
The August House Tour
The July historic house tour, of the south end of Monhegan, was a great success. Come join us on August 8, 1-4 pm for a tour of historic houses of the north end of the island. Tickets available at the Lupine Gallery.
The Quadricentennial Celebration is Coming!
On August 5-8, all the organizations and people on Monhegan will join to observe the Quadricentennial of John Smith's landing on the island. Read about it here: http://www.monhegan2014.org/ and plan to be on-island!!

Trail work is proceeding
We have committed to improving and renovating the trails in the wildlands. Six residents have been trained to build bog bridges and water bars on the trails. See the work here!
